This workshop presents both an objective and subjective exploration of the learner's visual capacity. Participants will gain new understanding of vision and movement and how these relate to learning, reading and other life skills.

This workshop will increase the knowledge and expertise of the Brain Gym consultant who works one-on-one with the advanced Educational Kinesiology process. Deepen your knowledge of the Edu-K advanced balancing process and enhance your skills in this three-day course. An in-depth study of movements and postures as they pertain to learning abilities and brain function will be offered. New techniques for deeper relaxation and increased muscle integration will be explored along with ways to increase vitality and body efficiency.
Instructor: Paul Dennison, Ph.D. Paul Dennison is a professional educator, pioneer in applied brain research and world authority on cognitive skills and reading achievement. He received his doctorate in education for his research on reading and cognitive development. His clinical research in the USA on the causes and treatment of learning difficulties resulted in the development of the Educational Kinesiology and Brain Gym® programs with his wife Gail Dennison. These programs are now used in more than 80 countries worldwide and translated into more than 40 languages. In 1999 the Dennisons' received the prestigious Reading Excellence through the Arts Award from the International Reading Association for their exemplary work on behalf of children, teachers, literacy and the arts. Learn how to integrate the Three Dimensions while standing, with backwards, sideways and forwards repatterning movements and colour. Patti has developed this workshop herself. She says that she has found that Three Directional Repatterning is a way of integrating the Past, being centered in the Present and being able to move forward positively into the Future.
Instructor: Patti Leahy Shrewsbury, International Edu-K Faculty, Australia Patricia Leahy-Shrewsbury is an International Faculty member of the Educational Kinesiology Foundation USA, an Advanced Touch for Health instructor and Proficiency Assessor. Patti teaches internationally and is author of the inspirational book, Human Crystals. In 1999 Patti received an award from the Edu-K Foundation for outstanding service & achievement. In 2001 the AKA awarded her for outstanding contribution to the growth and awareness of Kinesiology within the community.
Double Doodle Play: A Window To Whole-Brain Vision - 8 hours With Glenys Leadbeater

Come for a day of playful Double Doodle drawing and painting. In this introductory course we will use the Double Doodle and other movements from Brain Gym and Vision Gym® to explore and enhance visual perception and artistic expression. Participants will, through experience and discussion, gain a finer understanding of the relationship between visual skills, hand-eye coordination and creative expression. Applications for parents, teachers and various age groups will be addressed.

Participants experience the ways vision is expanded and enlarged by the other senses and learn how to facilitate sensory awareness and perceptual skills in others. This class is a requirement for licensure as a Visioncircles Instructor.

Learn about the Primary Postural Reflexes that interfere with learning and mature motor control. This course focuses on the recognition of primitive homolateral reflexes and how they can become integrated using the repatterning process as taught by Dr Paul Dennison.
These tools are useful for helping all individuals, regardless of neurological or physiological limitations. An understanding of the Touch for Health 42 muscles is helpful although these will be covered in the course.

This course offers a series of Action Balances including: Non-verbal Communication, Self-Mastery and Living in Celebration.
New menu includes: - More than 30 variations on the basic Cross Crawl activity for Laterality, Centering and Focus.
- Flow Medleys, a sequence of Brain Gym, Vision Gym and related movements done to music.
- A variety of other activities ranging from slow gentle, lying down movements to stimulating pre-activities which explore ideas, sounds and visual perceptions as well as movement in many situations, individually, with a partner or with the whole group.
This 2 day course is an extension of the original 1 day course with new material added.
Instructor: Gillian Johnson, National Edu-K Faculty, Australia Gillian has always loved to dance and brings this passion, together with her experience and personal exploration of various movement programs into her teaching of the Movement Dynamics course. She's been a Brain Gym Instructor for over 20 years, having attended her first Edu-K In Depth course with Paul Dennison in San Diego in 1984. She also teaches Visioncircles and OBO and is a member of the Australian Edu-K Faculty. As well as teaching in Australia she has also taught internationally, in Singapore, South Africa and most recently in Japan.

Paula began teaching communication skills in 1989 and this path eventually led her to discover Non-Violent Communication (NVC), also known as Compassionate Communication, which offers a real and effective alternative to talking around situations or going into reaction. As a learning consultant with a focus on interaction, she has assisted people of all ages, within families, educational settings and the workplace for 19 years.
